Ignorance is the mark of the heathen, knowledge of the true church, and conceit of the heretics.
To be ignorant of ones ignorance is the malady of the ignorant.
Ignorance is excusable when it is borne like a cross, but when it is wielded like an axe, and with moral indignation, then it becomes something else indeed.
The Bible in the pulpit must never supercede the Bible at home.
Can a mortal ask questions which God finds unanswerable? Quite easily, I should think. All nonsense questions are unanswerable.
