I agree to a certain extent but this example was clearly not objective and to be honest the reporter was exceedingly dull in her delivery. The idea that an interesting, objective journalist can deliver an unbiased 'thought provoking and informative exchange' without an engaging a TV friendly personality is to me not reality. Why? They are boring, Politicians are boring and no one would watch or turn it off in a second. They need these journalists to be biased to draw the crowds! Anyway I'm with you Bo, the idea that Politicians are going to do anything other than what is on their own agendas is another reality, I trust none of them but the new President elect gives me something I think I need more than reality, hope.

O'Reilly and Scarborough are pundits... they editorialize on the events of the day and make no pretense about being "objective journalists." The problem I'm pointing up here is that the lines have been blurred between objective reporting and editorializing... in fact, on CBS, NBC, MSNBC, ABC and CNN those distinctions have pretty much vanished. There was a day, when one could tune in and expect an anchor to report the news or interview sources/newsmakers and you could expect a thought-provoking and informative exchange. On FOX, I know I will get more objective coverage of the news and the commentators on news and events will make it plain that they are dealing in opinion, prognostication and entertainment.

There are ample studies out there to demonstrate that the day of objective journalism is gone. But, it's not the end of the world. News has always been covered with a bias, except for about a generation.

You should watch Fox news if you want a conservative stance, one of the biggest networks that clearly cannot tolerate any liberal opinions. Bill O'Reilly , Scarborough etc, a good slightly fascist, xenophobic stance pouring out. Karl Marx? please .

Are you aware that this interview is no longer available to watch?
Try it.
I could not get it to come up.
Scary...
distasteful presentation of Joe Biden...censored?
