To love Denise's FJ40 was to love Denise... Yes, I'm unashamed to admit that I was overboard for the girl with the long blonde hair, the blue Landcruiser and the Dr. Scholl clogs... not to mention the fact that she was the first person I ever knew who owned a pair of Birkenstocks, before they became a cultural icon/political fashion statement. Bo, I know you loved ..... Denise!!! (I almost said Land Cruiser) Wasn't it baby blue? Denise was pretty remarkable having her own car at such a young age. Our bedroom had all her antique furniture that she had purchased and dont' get me to start talking about all those clothes she had. Yes, I was a very envious junior higher in those days. I'm sure it wasn't YOU that eventually rolled the cruiser? We'll save that story for another entry. Keep the photos coming! The memories start flowing when I see those pictures.
