I have never been a great supporter of the Royal family as you know Bo, the article regarding banning Mac Donalds is a surprise to me as I actually believe the Prince of Wales is a little more savy than that. I had the benfit of a grant as a teenager from the 'Prince's Trust'. It supports a wide variety of programmes and his other work is comendable but I'm with you on this.Kids need information, respect and a balanced view on things such as 'grub'. Banning the corporate giant is nonsense but they should ban the blatantly unethical marketing campaigns that actually target certain demographics. That's my 'beef' with fast food giants/cigarette companies etc. People have the right to eat and consume whatever they like, no-ones business, just level the playing field in the consumer education department.

Truth be told, I'll take a pastie over a Big Mac any day and I was genuinely surprised that it was higher in fat, calories and carbs, while lower in fiber and protein... it makes Mac look like a legitimate meal. Either way, I have my right to eat either or neither.

Would that the Prince take on a boycott of something far more destructive... say, marital infidelity... I wonder, why doesn't he speak out against that and for honesty and integrity?
