Starting All Over
It’s been 30 years since I laid down my pencils, pens and brushes. I’m taking a drawing class at Sierra College this year and have already learned so much. When I was a kid, all I ever wanted to do was draw or paint people… portraits… hated still lifes.
That’s all changed and I look forward to drawing things I’ve never wanted to and dabble in the different mediums. The first drawing is graphite, the second charcoal and the third is created using a kneaded eraser to bring out highlights against a charcoal background.

The top and bottom ones are my favorites. Gosh, you made a can of brushes look perfectly spooky.
The top one reminds me of the work of that artist Sam Salisbury.
